We Love all Equines

History

Founded in 2020, American Donkey Trust celebrates six years of supporting donkey initiatives and building new equine alliances. Thank you to all the equids who make our planet a better place.

Why Donkeys

Donkeys have powered human communities for millennia as vital transportation and agricultural workers. Supporting the global welfare of these essential animals is our commitment to the billions who depend on them.

Our Mission

Families worldwide rely on working donkeys every day to take children to school, plow fields, haul water, and mill grain. As the economic engine of the developing world, these beasts of burden deserve our collective support for their welfare.
